So, how do we communicate with those who speak a foreign language? The U.S. can use accessible graphic design to communicate to a more diverse audience. The use of iconography began over 200,000 years ago, and to this day, we see it used to communicate information. Iconography provides easier access to information, ideas, and public spaces, through more innovative and effective communications engaging the broadest possible audience.<br><br>\r\nWith this interactive piece viewers can explore available trails at Grand Teton National Park using accessible graphic design. Design Like A Lady shares the lives and work of ten remarkable women of our design past and present to inspire the budding designers and artists of our future.\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\nInside you\u2019ll find the stories and design portfolios of amazing ladies working in every facet of design, including illustration, advertising, interactive, packaging, and even furniture design. Each designer is paired with a real-world design project that you can complete right inside the book \u2014 no fancy computer software required. MoodMural creates unique designs to visually represent your daily mental state and to inspire discussion about mental health. Users are encouraged to save and share their personal design and to discuss how they are feeling. We have used stories to understand the world around us and give meaning to things and events in our lives. Now, we even use it to escape this world and those events. Although that figure is rising, women are under-represented in higher-ranking positions, and the creative industry is no exception. However, women have been essential in the creative industry for centuries. \r\n\r\nThis slot-stacking educational card game, geared towards girls ages 7-14, focuses on global women who have contributed to design history. Yet only 12 languages in 7 scripts account for 2\/3rds of the world\u2019s population. Nearly \u2153 of the world\u2019s languages have less than 1,000 speakers, and every 2 weeks, a language goes dormant.
